What is the best temperature for a swimming pool? Many, including the American Red Cross suggest 78 degrees for swimming.
If you’ve ever been in a pool or other body of water this

suggested for competitive swimming, not necessarily every day use.
The cold water promotes faster heartbeat, and heavier breathing in
order to keep warm. This does work well for competitive swimming, or
for exercise, but I’ve always been more comfortable between 80 and
82 degrees F.
